A sunny-yet-foggy day in Boulder, CO.
4:20 p.m. on 4/20.

No, that is not fog. That is smoke. Being exhaled. From the mouths of Boulder students. Who are now high.

Imagine all the intellectual conversations (“Why do you have three eyes?”), the bonds being formed (“I love you, man!” “No, I love YOU!”), and the overwhelming sounds of stomachs growling in that crowd of enthusiastically lazy students.

The entire town had a contact high that day.

And The Sink burger (a Boulder icon) never tasted so good.

    How did they get it passed the police? This is the same group that did such a 'cracker jack' job on the Jonbenet Ramsey case remember. Having gone to school in Colorado, Boulder is a joke. They set-up their own bizarre laws, rules, etc and look down their nose at the rest of the state. You can't smoke a cigarette in public outside, but weed is legal? Makes perfect sense.

    Place should be walled off and leased to Canada.

    There are too many people for the police to do anything about it. What are they going to do? Jail everyone? I don't think they want to hand out 10,000+ tickets. Its not a riot; its a gathering. Plus its Boulder. The whole town is down and people from all over the nation come to CU Boulder on 420. Where else can you smoke pot outside and not get arrested? Amsterdam? maybe. Its a big deal so stoners everywhere (and people who support it) want to come to see this local holiday take place. Don't hate if people want an excuse to celebrate! Embrace the ability to do so!
