Steal du Jour: Glam Noir Leather Zip Clutch in Black
April 26, 2009 4:00 pm Posted in Style Candy -- NYU g+ page
Have you met our new BFFs over at What’s Haute? We love popping over there to do some “window shopping” of all the designer bags and accessories that we would have to work for life and beyond to afford. Still, we can’t stop. Well, our friends know how we feel and now they are bringing us some cheaper (yet still beautiful) alternatives, right here on CollegeCandy. To see more couture goodness, visit What’s Haute.
With the economy flip-flopping more than John Kerry, it’s difficult to justify spending lots of cash on a bag. So the $95 Glam Noir Leather Zip Clutch in Black is priced just right for a recessionista’s budget!
And you don’t have to skimp on style. This little black clutch incorporates one of this season’s hottest trends – exposed zipper detail – with asymmetric lines. The glossy black leather exterior paired with the bright, violet bengaline lining makes it look a lot ‘richer’ than $95 bucks! It has a snap flap closure and measures at 11″w x 6″h x 1″d, so it can easily fit your wallet, keys, cell phone, lipgloss and more. It’s the perfect date clutch! And you’re left with money to spare.
Get it at Luna Boston.

Maybe I'm terribly out of the loop, but to me, $95 for a purse (and a tiny one at that!) is still extravagant. Then again, I do my purse shopping at Target, so what do I know…

1. I kind of resent the whole John-Kerry-flip-flopper thing. It may have been an effective ad campaign by the otherwise retarded Bush administration, but it wasn't particularly ethical or valid (What's wrong with changing your mind when new facts are presented instead of being a stubborn asshole, and what politician doesn't "flip-flop" frequently? Ugh, I hate that this is still being brought up.).
2. The economy isn't really flip-flopping, it's just declining.
3. $95 for an effing clutch? That would be the opposite of cheap.

I love fashion, and I understand better quality often costs money, buutt
1. We're college students
2. It's a recession
My family is pretty well off, but I still think $95 for a clutch is a bit much right now. It's an awesome clutch, but at the moment I'd only spend $95 on a bag that is more versatile and I could take anywhere.

$95 is NOT priced just right for a recessionista’s budget! $95 bucks for a student to pay for a clutch is ridiculous. That's like 10-15 hours of work just to pay for a clutch. I would rather pay $95 for a month's worth of groceries.

One other thing is that an online buesniss administration training course is designed for college students to be able to efficiently proceed to bachelors degree courses. The 90 credit education meets the other bachelor education requirements then when you earn your associate of arts in BA online, you will possess access to the most recent technologies with this field. Some reasons why students need to get their associate degree in buesniss is because they may be interested in this area and want to obtain the general education necessary previous to jumping in a bachelor education program. Thanks alot : ) for the tips you really provide inside your blog.
