Joyce Hyser stars as Terry, which is convenient because she's able to use the same name when she dresses like a teenage guy and goes to a different high school. Not the greatest premise (She dresses like a guy and tries to turn in the same newspaper article at another high school to prove her journalism teacher was sexist or something, WTF!?), but very funny, cute, with some dramatic. memorable and enjoyable moments. Plus it has William Zabka aka Johnny from The Karate Kid in another role as a bully here.

I think she ends up doing an article then about the whole experience after her original one wasn't accepted and she leanrs a lot and is thankful for the whole experience. Anyway, good movie, enjoyable flick, should be on any teen movies list, isn't as well known as most others though, for some reason, probably became more well-known after its video (now DVD) release and many airings on cable movie stations like HBO.
