Full metal jacket, saving private ryan, platoon, the thin red line, enemy at the gates, platoon leader, jarhead, we were soldiers, the big red one, the dirty dozen, were bad ass war movies, to name a few off the top of my head, the civil war movies were so boring, some were good but it was like a chore to watch them, pearl harbor sucked donkey balls it might as well have been called titanic 2, and as for gone with the wind come on give your head a shake its not even close to a war movie its a damn romance, if a movie does not closely represent the actual conflict within a battle of arms or the people closely involved in combat it does not count as a bad ass war movie.
