Even though the rest of it is pretty awful – Tyra's acting, the drama, etc., the photoshoots alone save the show for me.

I actually don't watch it for the drama (the drama actually kind of annoys me and sometimes I fast forward through it) I love the photo shoots and seeing how the photos come out.

I wish I had known about the short girl season before hand. I have always wanted to audition, but I'm only 5'3. :(

I think the next cycle will be really interesting. Short people (I'm 4'11 here) very, very rarely get a chance to make it big in the modeling agency, so I'm sure everyone will be wanting to win realll bad. Then again, They'll probably all be JUUUST short enough. I still love it though =)

I've seen every episode of every season and could name the winners in order. And still whenever a marathon is on, I will watch the whole thing.

The only thing I have a huge problem with is how the models are chosen. It's absolutely not true that girls just show up and they get the chance to live the dream; usually model scouts or agencies will send girls to be on the show. I was so stoked when they announced the short girl season (I'm only 5'3") because I wanted to try out. But since there are no short girls in these modeling agencies, when auditions came around there were all those riots. Disappointing.

The show isn't very multicultural either. Tyra goes on about how hard it is to be black in the industry, but there wasn't even one asian woman on the show…and you can't say that none auditioned…It bothers me that she always talks about how people should embrace their racial qualtiies (Such as beautiful curly hair on black women) but then she gives them all straight hair weaves. I also found Aminat(sp?) super annoying and it made it hard to watch the show..but her hair before the makeover was amazing. Does anyone think Tyra is a little bit biased? They couldn't even manage to make Allison seem weird or interesting after the nosebleed incident. I hope cycle 13 is a little more intense. Does anyone know when it's coming out?
