I do make my own homemade cookie dough but had been very very good and had stayed away for MONTHS (trying to lose weight) ... but then this hit the news yesterday and I got an INTENSE CRAVING for some! Yikes. I caved in and made a batch but modified my recipe and used "healthy" ingredients - whole wheat flour, egg beaters egg, I can't believe it's not butter Mediterranean blend with olive oil (instead of shortening/butter) and reduced the amount of sugar ... whew.

I don't watch much TV - just the news - and it's incredible the power the media has over my life .... :o(

Those cookies made from packaged cookie dough are disgusting anyways lol

Homemade are MUCH better and easy too. And you could eat that cookie dough (minus the whole raw egg thing) since you know where it's been.

Raw cookie dough still isn't supposed to have bacteria in it because it can contaminate other things like your kitchen counter, then end up on other food. XP

This is coming from someone who just ate a bunch of Nestle Tollhouse mini-brownie raw dough yesterday....>.>
