I’m all about the importance of spelling in a status update, but there is a time and a place for everything. And I’m pretty sure this is not it.

    I hate when people want everyone to feel bad for them so they change their Facebook status to get attention. She needs help.

    I totally dislike when people point out my spelling errors, part of it is I have a learning disability so I was pretty oblivious to the spelling part of 3rd grade. This is a pretty low blow for someone who is upset. I think I would unfriend that person on face book, clearly they are not sympathetic and not worth being your friend.

    Also very true, overly whiny people shouldn't be allowed on face book, it's one more way to see their every waking whiny moment of life.

    I'm honestly shocked at the comments here. People don't do things like this if they just need a little attention. They do it when they actually need major help. Dear God do we need to have a better understanding of mental health nowadays.

    no, i think deliberately changing your facebook status to something like this IS a cry for attention. plus, this probably isnt a suicide note. maybe this person was getting bullied on facebook and is choosing to lose her account, or maybe she is quitting a team after being the worst player on the roster. who knows? and anyway, if this really is the real deal, putting it on facebook obviously means she'll be feverishly reading the comments for tidbits of appreciation when she robotically logs back in within the next two minutes. people like this are so annoying.

    teal- not always… a friend told me about a guy who lived in his dorm and who committed suicide and put it on facebook right before he did it… i mean im sure a lot of people are just looking for attention and i agree that it super annoying, but its just not across the board.
