Although, once you get to college, you'll wish your mother had made you buy those extra things (i.e. TWO costco pack of granola bars and not one) so you don't have to pay for it with your own precious money (Which could be used for MUCH more useful things. Like clothes. And fun.) Just don't comprimise on everything. Once you pass the "there are more q-tips in this box than there are days of the year," its time to draw the line.

Which I'm very thankful for, of course, but it'll be ME who pays off all those loans, anyway.
