totally off the mark.. i see nothing in that line which emulates vanessa or serena. sure, i can see the styles of blair and jenny in some of their respective outfits, but if i were to purchase these items, i would not be associating them with gossip girl.

I don’t watch Gossip Girl, but I’m loving this line. I practically live in skirts and dresses all year round, so these outfits will be a great addition to my fall/winter wardrobe. I can’t wait for the collection to come out!

The line is INSPIRED by Gossip Girl not BASED on Gossip Girl.
People are taking it way way way too literaly.

A lot of the items are actually things that Anna Sui had in her collections a couple years ago, they’ve just been changed a bit. It’s not like she sat down and said “Okay, lets make a dress that Vanessa would wear”

Hell no.
I saw the line and I’m not impressed at all.

There’s a couple of things I would wear, but honestly, you could get them anywhere else and cheaper too probably.

Oh an girl, remember, this is inspired by UES clothes, not the same thing, so you’re not really getting any closer to an UES wardrobe by buying these things. Just mix and match your own inspirations, that’ll probably end up matching closer to the styles anyways.

I don’t think the looks reflect the characters are well as the could, but I love the clothes. The Vanessa looks are definitely strange though.
