I had needed a root canal when I was 11, I'm 12 now and I got it this year. The neeldes only feel like a little pinch and then it numbs. I can't really remember how long it took but the average time is around an hour. I didn't have anything frozen I just had numbing jell and shots (I had to get even more because they put it in the wrong spot). During the treatment you just feel some pressure and some pinching but it goes away after a couple hours. My numbness wore off in 4 hours but still hurt a little later in the day. Good Luck! You will be fine! (:And by the way my tooth was even infected. Was this answer helpful?
