CC Beauty Live: Bangin’ Brows
August 8, 2009 10:00 am Posted in Beauty, Style Caitlin Corsetti g+ page

Everyone knows that a unibrow is about as attractive as a muffin top. But many girls don’t know that having two distinct brows isn’t enough to fix your face.
The shape of a brow can really make or break you, so it’s crucial to do ‘em right. I’m covering all bases in this video from how to grow, fill, and shape them to give you some bangin’ brows!
Now sweep those bangs off your face and show off those brows.

That's just rude, Lola. I like these videos. Plus for someone who's commenting on intelligence, you may want to consider learning how to spell "embaressed" correctly.

Lola, clearly you've never watched any of her tutorials- she's really good. Anyway, before you criticize someone about being "smart" you should learn how to spell "embarassed"… I'd be embarassed if I were you….

ha! guest, you beat me to it!

It was probably rude but that girl did sound ditzy lol.
"Uh..at the edge of your eyeball..pupil..iris thing….um, yea"
lmao!

I've never thought your eyebrows were SUPPOSED to be sperm-shaped…

These comments were full of lol

I don't think they're supposed to be sperm-shaped. According to Bobbi Brown, that shape makes the eye look mean and very unnatural. A bulbous beginning and then the eyebrow becoming thin after the bulb looks very unnatural. The "sperm-shaped" eyebrow went out of favor with the beauty world ages ago.

Okay, I want to remind everyone that I do read the comments, and I would appreciate it if they were either positive comments or those with constructive criticism rather than rude ones.
To Lola, I am not embarrassed at all, and I'm actually very smart double major and honor student with a 3.7 GPA. To Kenneth, I apologize if I sounded "ditzy", but I made this video very early in the morning so I could get it posted in time for my deadline. I do know that I was talking about my iris.
Amy and Michelle, I do not have "sperm-shaped" eyebrows. While my eyebrows are thinner than they should be, I am growing them in which was the whole point of me explaining how to fill in eyebrows in the video.
Again, I do read the comments and have no problem replying, but it's a lot nicer to read positive ones instead of ones trying to hurt or mock me. Thank you to those who are supportive and can find use for my videos.

I always have problems trimming the hair on my eyebrows. I have the hardest time making them even on both sides. How do I do that?

Caitlin,
I love your videos. And I think you are so friggin pretty.
And you don't sound ditzy. People think they can get away with saying anything on the internet because it allows a certain amount of anonymity, when really they're the kind of pricks we wouldn't hang out with in person anyway.
So, don't let them get to you.
Thanks for the videos! They're always informative and helpful! I've tried several of your tricks and I love it!
And…Roll Tide, of course.

I was not saying you had sperm-shaped eyebrows, Caitlin. I was just replying to Amy. You're talking to the girl who has overtweezed her eyebrows zillions of times, so I do know the pain of trying to grow them back without them looking…funky. I really did find the video useful as I have that same kit and have been trying to figure it out how to use it correctly.

Samantha, good question. When trimming your eyebrows you need to be super careful. Take a eyebrow brush or spooly brush and brush your eyebrow hairs upward like you're applying gel, then take your trimming scissors or whatever your using and snip the ends that stick up. Does that make sense? Always trim less than you think you should to avoid chopping off your whole brow. If you're afraid to do it yourself, most places like Ulta will trim your brows either for free or a very low cost.
Sarah, thank you so much! I appreciate your support
Michelle, okay my misunderstanding, sorry! Seriously though, if you haven't tried the brow enhancing serum, please do. It's amazing!
