My mom calls texts "emails" and emails "notes", which can lead to some confusion…. my favorite texts are from my dad, though, because he uses all the proper punctuation and makes texts way longer than necessary (e.g., "How has work been going for you today, buddy?"). it's really cute, but I can just imagine how long it's taking him to type those suckers when i know that he only uses his index fingers to type on computer keyboards…
