When discussing intersexed conditions the term "hermaphrodite" is not okay. It is othering, overly medical, and conjures up horrific and unnecessary images. Try intersexed. Also, the general facts of this case are to the best of my knowledge correct. Not that it would be anyone's business if they weren't.
