It REALLY bugs me when I read an article on what seems to be a reputable site and it has really basic mistakes that are easy to fix (not knowing the difference between affect and effect, for example). Please be more careful in the future- it's hard for me to take collegecandy seriously when there are so many grammar mistakes, but I'm rooting for you guys.
