And as someone who did pick up food poisoning from my alma mater's dining hall (salmonella as well…woohoo Peter Pan Peanut Butter!) I can say that laxatives would have only made it WORSE!

What about the ever present myth that dining halls spray salads with proteins and carbs because they're worried about students only eating the salads and they WANT them to put on the freshman 15? Anyone ever heard that one or was that rumor only running rampant at my women's college?

As such, this acts as a laxative if you are not used to so much oils in your diet, causing grumbly intestines. But look on the bright side, at least you never have to worry about becoming constipated! :D
