It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here: the smokey eye!
You’ve seen it on just about every red carpet from Hollywood to New York. It’s glamorous, it’s sexy, it’s chic… and it’s not that hard to do all by yourself. Nope, you don’t need a professional makeup artist to smoke out your eyes – you just need a few shadows, a few brushes and the know-how. Which is why I’m here.
Watch, learn and rock this look in no time.

you have lovely eyes! I know that you do live tutorials but it’d be so cool for you to show how different makeup can flatter different eye shapes, because I know that some styles of makeup that my friends can wear I can’t, and vice versa, just because of our different shapes.

Awesome tutorial! You should do a video talking about the essential makeup products to have in your bag, and which brands/products you use & recommend.

As nice as it must be for you to be able to afford ridiculously expensive beauty items from Sephora, or if you have Daddy buy them, the average college student can’t afford to dish out that kind of dough on makeup.
I like College Candy but I think the “Style” section, in order to be more relevant to us college students who maybe are paying our own way through school, or relying on loans and are therefore on a tight budget, should focus on affordable makeup and makeup tools. Forget Sephora. Go to your local drugstore or Target and find affordable things there that do a decent job.
Same with clothing- Go to Target or thrift stores even! Give tips for thrifting and finding staple pieces for your wardrobe at someplace more affordable. For example- get a great pair of jeans on sale at the Gap. Then, how to accent them with variety from a thrift store or Target or somewhere else that is affordable?
I think, especially in this economy, you will attract more readers by being budget conscious.

eh kind of scary and nothing really new. If you want a better makeup tutorial I like Kandee Johnson’s tutorials on Youtube and she has an amazing blog too.
