Jenny needed something to spark her character's SL. Bitchy Queen Jenny is much improved over raccoon eyed, teen angst Jenny. She was annoying me almost beyond redemption. This ep was actually a step up from what we have been seeing as of late, so I'm happy. Plus, Bart's not dead! So that will also up the season's SL for everyone.

From what we know of Jenny so far, she's a very family-oriented person. She strays from her family only when she's been hurt by one of them, but then she always goes back to them when she gets into trouble. I'm sure this time will be no different.

I agree. I think Eric forced her to make a choice and I think that she's trying to at least stick with a group that is predictable. They may be bitchy, but at least she knows how they'll behave.

Oh and I say "the world she didn't want to be in" because at the beginning she was hesitant to throw out that old life, but after Eric wanted nothing to do with her (although he was the one who breached the two worlds when he defied the queen. Even though she's his sister, she's still the queen), there was nothing left of that old life to hang on to, so she threw out her old clothes and her sewing machine (her old life) and is embracing her new role.

I don't think the power went to her head, what I gathered from it all was since Eric no longer wanted anything to do with her, she was abandoning "Family Jenny" (since she was no longer accepted there) and transforming into "Queen Bitch Jenny" because at least the Queen Bitch is accepted at school. Her whole story line this episode was about her "two worlds" and at the end she was forced into the world she didn't want to be in. We'll see what she makes of it.

are you kidding? Did you not notice the end when she threw her sewing machine away? That was a sign that she was throwing away old jenny and becoming new, bitchy jenny. The power went to her head.

I like Jenny, and I think the way Eric and Jonathon handled the situation was pretty messed up. Obviously Jenny didn't want to be a bitch to them, cause they're her family, but she can't have the minions not looking up to her either, because then she can't reign the way she wants (which is by NOT being a bitch) She wants to protect everyone, but she can't do that when Eric tries to step in her way. He really should have just trusted her and not tried to test her.
