I'm sure she could make a serious relationship work, but she said more than once that this is in reference to something more along the lines of booty calls.

I think it's hilarious. And I agree – guys across cmapus are just difficult but guys nearby are TOO convenient!

While I intend no disrespect to the author, and rarely leave harsh comments, I have to point out that letting a good guy go because he lives fifteen minutes away is ridiculous. If you inwardly just felt that the relationship wasn't going to work out for other reasons, and used "distance" as an excuse, then kudos to you for being creative. Otherwise, this is really sad.
