It seems like he must have respect for you and even though he treated all the other girls this way and is a total player, it'll be different between you two. Trust me, it won't. I tried this and even if the guy does like you he'll still fool around and not treat you right. He doesn't even have to be a complete asshole about it like in the movies. He can simply want a lot of women and not settle down and give you the respect you deserve.

This happened to me a few years ago. I was really good friends with this guy (who had a ton of girls who were interested in him) and because we hung out so much, I started thinking that I liked him. Well, I ended up telling him and now we don't talk anymore because it got super awkward and he was a complete jerk about it.

Do everyone a favor and don't try to go past the friend zone because you'll just ruin a good friendship. And wait for a guy who'll care about you…unless you're just interested in hooking up.

Perfect advice for this situation. I'm often 'one of the guys' and every once in awhile I get feelings for a guyfriend and want to change our relationship. Usually, it's better to wait out the crush and save the friendship. DUDE he hooked up with your twin sister. Be his bro and don't try to be another conquest.
