collagen injections are protein not fat. generally fat transferral is pretty much permanent, though there can be slight reabsorbtion its not like the 6month reinjection rate of collagen. not advocating surgery at all BUT its better to put something foreign and contained in your body than natural but lumpy leading to cancer scares or lack of cancer detection
