Sadly, there are a lot of girls who play dirty on the field, I should know, I can no longer play anymore, and am always the first one to notice changes in the weather because of one dirty player my senior year of high school. It really sucks playing with girls who are so unsportsmanlike, and almost worse is having one on your team, because it gives the whole team a bad rep, not to mention, who do you think she practices her nasty moves on? her team mates, during their practices. A good friend of mine was taken out by one of our own players during a practice, she can also no longer play anymore.

But honestly, I think the fans like it. Girls soccer is known to be pretty dirty and the guys in high school always came to our games, not to support the team, but to see cat fights. :(

(Utah resident, non-LDS) But that girl definitely went over the line, sad thing is I bet she has been getting away with that for years. If I was on that BYU team I would have been ejected from the field, because I would have knocked her out.
