Naomi, You may find it's in your interest to follow your own advice since I never equated the fact that the singers are black to my joke "It sounds like a thug kid sing-a-long. Honestly, the singers race never even crossed my mind when listening to this song. The LYRICS are what spurred me to make my original comment, not someone's race. The fact that you automatically assume I was hung up on race with this song brings up questions about your character. And THAT was why I said you needed to "get over yourself" because not everyone thinks like you do.

I am well aware that everyone can go back and read the exchange, not that anyone cares to, but I never said you made either of those statements. I was trying to understand your logic in calling my joke a stereotype, which we discovered in your last comment, so I'm glad we got that out of the way.

Liz, I'm sorry but I don't start arguments with myself. Something has to provoke me to get defensive. And I'm not the only person who hasn't heard this song, as if that should be an issue anyway. (Seriously, are you people really getting bitchy over the fact that not everyone has heard this song yet?) Before i begin, Casey i suggest that if you want to make a valid point, dont make up things that arent there or were never said, especially since everyone who reads our exchange can go and see everything we both have said. Did i ever say thugs dont exist? if i did pls copy and paste it in your next nonsensical comment.

So because its a black person singing the song it has to be a thug sing a long? where is your logic for that observation? what made you deduce that this song equated to thugs? you saying that its a thug sing a long and thats not stereotypical, but its that same thing as calling something bad ghetto or saying thats gay. you say people need to stop taking shit so seriously? that wouldn't be a problem if you had any bit of tact.
