This is an old post, but I have the biggest crush ever on one of my English professors. I took a class with him last semester, and I went into class thinking he was good looking, but the second he opened his mouth to lecture, he turned into the sexiest human being on the planet. He is adorable and quirky and hilarious and a complete genius and probably the best teacher I've ever had in my entire life. And that whole intelligence thing… so damn hot. But really, I've never learned more than I did in that class. So I registered for another class with him this semester. This one is a small seminar whereas last semester was a large lecture. Raised my hand like a grand total of twice because I was petrified that I would say something wrong and embarrass myself. I never went to his office hours; I had a TA for that, who also graded all my work. He called attendance a few times, but I never thought he was able to connect my face with my name. Anyway, walked into the first day of our seminar and he held the door opened for me and called me by name. I almost passed out. Can't wait to see what this semester brings!

My Introduction to Macroeconomics professor from my freshman year of college. He's got the older Indiana Jones professorial look, wears a sharp suit to every lecture, and has a lovely sense of humor. He doesn't have the obvious sort of hotness–it's definitely his mind, humor and experience that make him so attractive. And maybe his adorable glasses.

I'm totally in love with my Critical Thinking in the Social Sciences prof. I dont know what it is….his intelligence, his brown eyes, his smile…I could go on. He's not that much older than the rest of us, which is a MAJOR bonus. He and I do have some friends in common outside of school, which is all kinds of weird lol but he's a real sweetheart too ::sigh::

Totally crushing on my hydrology prof. Like, wtf, he's married, 2 kids, wife, 45 (more than double my age), not traditionally hot. But he's also so damn tall, crazy mesmerizing fluid German accent, runs marathons, cycles, that cute "crooked" smile that everyone's been writing about. I think it's the combination of smile+PhDGermanEngineeringAttitude+fit+great sense of humor that's doing me in. I won't ever act on my thoughts but geeze I never thought I could crush on anyone more than a decade older than me – even George Clooney's not hot to me and I never cared about Brad Pitt/Tom Cruise.

Wow, I just saw this link, and had to put my two cents in…or 90! I'm a 30+ student & I had a Prof. that was around the same age as I two yrs. ago- he was tall, thin, had a go-tee, was a fantastic teacher and lecturer, but it was good he talked to quick bcuz that kept me f/looking at him all the time in front row. And, damn, I'm majoring in the same thing he's a Prof. in, soo…I see him in that dept. a lot- wow!
When I read your "Here's to you…", you sounded just like me. I never thought I'd have the hots for a Prof OR a T.A., but since coming back to school…damn those intellectuals are a turn on! Even a few of the older ones. And, I'm not one to brown-nose or sleep around w/teachers or anyone else!
This semester, I'm in a class taught by a PhD candidate. I always sit in the front row, bcuz I don't haveta see all the younger kids texting,etc., but this class is worth it! I'm pretty sure the T.A./grad. student teaching us is around my age or a bit younger. I must be a geek now, bcuz he's a geek, very quirky- he's got a cool/weird sense of humor, he has semi-long hair (tied back, there are a few strands that hang over his face!), has a beard, he's got glasses that he keeps tilted down a bit…and he's into medieval stuff, plus his class is fun and love his lectures. If someone would've described this TA to me a few yrs. ago, I woulda said, "no way!" But, there is just something about him and a couple others in the past- maybe it has to do with their authoritative position (figuratively & literally- LOL!) I actually met my ex-husband when he was a TA- not for me, but I needed a tutor, and randomly picked him. We became good friends, then best friends, then…! What was totally hot w/him was that he and I would role-play the Prof/student thing! I've never been with anyone who would think of doing that- and me being comfortable with it- and turned on. So….here's to all those HOT Profs & T.A.'s!!! P

i have the biggest crush on my criminal justice professor. he is a cop full time and teaches at my school part time. i try to take every class he teaches. he is married with kids, an he talks about them all the time in class. every girl i know takes his class just to watch him walk back and forth in the front of the room. he is funny, smart, and no-nonsense. i wish i coul check him out in his uniform! MMMMMM
