I agree with everything you say in regards to the Idea of unearned priviledges…and I too strongly despise the idea of a monarchy. One thing I do not agree with however, is the idea that people in the US do not enjoy gaudy and Vulgar displays of wealth? Have you not been to LA, Miami, NYC ? , nor listened to Philistinism that is Rap music… America is Mecca of Gaudyness and all things Classless!

My super Sweet 16, The Hills, The real housewives of ( OC, NYC etc..) and many other shows, are major hits …. and all they do is highlight exactly what Im saying.

As for Prince William… hes boyish Charm has definitely faded … as has his hair… Harrys hair is also going though… recent videos fromt he wedding show a growing bald spot developing on his crown

Brittany, let's see you in 20 years and let's revisit this topic about aging and looks with regards to your own face and see how much you'd like people commenting on how much your tanning salon addiction has aged your entire face and body and how much weight you have gained and how much you don't resemble the image of youth you had in your 20s. You say you aren't vain or shallow but you are showing it with this preoccupation with looks. Men go bald sometimes, young, sometimes old. Big deal. If you were honest, you'd post a photo of yourself without makeup, so we can then judge you honestly and accurately because all men know… most women look NOTHING like they look with it on. Makeup does wonders to women's skin and features. How would you like someone judging you on your own looks?

Ugly parents = ugly kids. Charles is hideous and Di was barely plain. I don't know why people made a big deal over her. If these people weren't royalty and rich nobody would give them a second look.

I was just thinking along the same line … Prince William is getting uglier and Prince Harry is getting better-looking. A statement of opinion only.
However, I think this is a general change and not just about hair or lack of it.
I also think that this article didn’t have to be elaborately mean. Sometimes people are shallow and form opinions on looks – it’s not unnatural but might be cruel when expressed. The author has not only done that but turned it into a crap throwing session.

Come on now, if it was all about the money and the crown, this article wouldn't even exist. You don't see women ever having called his father good-looking, do you? Just like a lot of you men, women aren't blind when it comes to good looks either.

He looks like his parents. Neither one had good features, Di covered up her mediocrity with a lot ot f make up. William is average, but seems to be a nice fellow otherwise.

Yes. The dude sadly took exactly after his horsey “Mr. Ed” looking father, and there is absolutely nothing good about that. I noticed it quite a while ago, and that the tables had turned. William, once the looker is now the funky one, and Harry, once the funky one, is now the looker. Odd how these things come to be, isn’t it?!

Brittany is indeed shallow but you do waste your time telling her this. She'll never realize it, her mind is wired this way. Brittany will probably look like an alien at 50, heavy-laden with plastic surgeries, fake lips, breasts, hips, hair, eyelashes, nails… That's what happens to people whose only preoccupation doesn't dip the surface…
