It's the whole cost per wear thing, take the price of an article of clothing and divide it by the number of times you think you'll wear it. So technically, these jeans can end up costing you less than a formal dress since you'll use them more!

So while the prices are on the reeeally high end for most college students, it's not totally unreasonable. Especially for a girl like me, who has a hard time finding jeans that fit perfectly.

These are up and coming brands you should know – just like designers like Jason Wu and Alexander Wang are. I'm not expecting you to go out and buy 10 pairs, but many, many college students own designer denim and these are some different brands they should consider beyond 7 For All Mankind and True Religion. This post is about designer denim brands. If you want to save, head to Marshall's or Filene's Basement since they always have jeans on sale.
