The option of getting a part time job is one way, but I found selling stuff on ebay to be an even better option. You really just don't know how much stuff is worth until you try and sell it on ebay. After I sold out all my extra junk from my room, I would buy things from my fellow students on campus for cheap and then sell them on ebay. You may laugh, but it really was a great way to make some extra money.

Yes they give you money, but they're making a lot more money off your gold jewelry than they gave you for it. Getting money for your gold from TV shows or the "Cash 4 Gold" program is a complete and total scam. You got ripped off big time. I would not suggest anyone else to make the same mistake.

No offense but you got tricked and they made a ton of money while only paying you an insignificant $300. Seems like a lot to a poor college kid but if you knew how much you would have received if you'd sold it for its actual value, you would regret it. I'm not expert, but if they paid you $300, then it was worth a lot more than that.

Those scams are NEVER real. Trust me, it seems too good to be true because it is.
