It's harder for the guy? On what planet is it harder for a guy? Do you a carry a baby for nine months? Does your body change? Do you have morning sickness? Could you become ill or bed-ridden? Do you have to give birth? No? I didn't think so.

Doug, I definitely agree with that. Yes it takes two to tango, BUT the women has a choice, and considering it does take two to tango the man should also have a choice. What if the woman pokes holes in the condoms herself to baby trap the guy? (My boyfriends sister in law did it to his brother) the guy should have a choice of whether he wants to be a father or not. If men don't have this option, then we aren't really equal.

If someone does get preggers due to a stunt like this, I think we can all agree that that's terrible.

However it's really much worse for the guy. She can get an abortion, or give the kid up for adoption. If she doesn't want to parent the kid financially and time wise, she doesn't have to. At all. He however under the current messed up laws of the UK and US has no choice whatsoever on whether he has to pay child support for 18 or even 21 years. It's totally up to her.

It shouldn't be. If he asks her to abort and pay half of that, he should have no further responsibilities if she doesn't. She then in the end decided to become a parent but he didn't. He shouldn't be forced to be. She should support the child she alone wanted on her own. (Perhaps if she'd qualify for welfare, hardly likely for a Cambridge student or other college student, he should pay that amount rather than the state, though that still isn't really fair. The state wants her to have welfare and has made that decision; he doesn't necessarily.)

Roe for men too. Not just women.
