“Cosmo Says: If your guy won’t let you put pics up of the two of you kissing on FB, he’s just concerned with privacy.”

Cosmo is doing a great job in influencing girls to become needier by the passing months they get away with posting this garbage advice. The concept of posting pictures of kissing is to not only state the obvious that you're dating (Based on the In a Relationship with status already virtually pairing a guy & girl together) but it's clearly to reassure an insecure and needy girlfriend who needs to tag a picture of her and her boyfriend kissing to send the message that he is taken, therefore making herself feel empowered that he's off limits.

In a nutshell: We all post pictures on facebook for a purpose. For some, its to keep everyone posted on where you currently are in your life, for others, its to show serious school pride in the form of parties, athletics, clubs, and frat/sorority events. However, some do upload their pictures of loved ones and/or significant others to establish a virtual display of their love for one another. Just because your boyfriend/girlfriend un-tags a specific picture of some couple PDA doesn't mean that action has an intent to remove any connection to you. If so, there would be no 'official' relationship status at all on the page.

Guys don't often upload those kinds of pictures because if they are in a relationship with you, then that's usually just that.

"Cosmo Says: If your guy won’t let you put pics up of the two of you kissing on FB, he’s just concerned with privacy."

Um, I'd agree. Not everyone wants the entire Internet to see them doing what they might consider a private, even sexual activity (because kissing IS sexual to a degree). For instance, I'd be horrified if I gave my boyfriend a kiss goodnight at the end of a date and then saw someone on the street standing there gawking at us. So why would I want my entire Facebook friends list doing it every time they look at my profile?

Uh, isn't the point of a date for both parties to get to know ONE ANOTHER, Cosmo? Not only would girls look totally self-centered and annoying by only talking about themselves, but they would have no idea if they liked the guy.

My favorite one is the " Stop asking your date questions about himself! Make sure the convo revolves around you, he’ll be smitten" wow. I think it speaks volumes about our self absorbed generation, not to mention the drivel that cosmo prints that only strengthens that self absorbed attitude. Ladies, guys like it when you talk about them. It's also good in general when speaking with a new person, ask questions, talk about them then you an relate something in your own life. Give and take.
