The Know: Chocolate Just For You
March 4, 2010 Posted in Cool Stuff

Chocolate. That is one word and gift from heaven I will never get sick of. It tastes good with – um – everything. I never don’t want it. And even when I try to cut it out (like today) I find myself crawling back to it (as in eating it as I write this).
Another thing I never get sick of?
Creating my own things. Whether it’s a photo book, a necklace, a personalized hoodie or my own snack bar, building something from scratch that I know I will love always makes the final product that much more fun and enjoyable.
So when I heard about Createmychocolate.com I needed no convincing. It’s just like the URL says: you can create your very own chocolate bars. Can I get a HELL YES!? I spent hours trying to craft 3 perfect bars and, let me tell you, with so many options it was HARD. From pretzels, to cereal, nuts, fruits, sugary bits of heaven and various spices, you can craft the most amazing, delectable chocolate bar of your very own.
Choose from white, milk or dark, and then add your favorite fillings. Seriously, there is NO way not to find a heavenly combo that will be your personal BFF through those though times in life, like finals, breakups, and PMS. Not to mention you can get creative and add things you never thought would work (like basil? Who knew?!).
You can name your own bar, or create an adorable personalized gift for a friend. They even let you decorate the wrapper (to say thanks, happy birthday, etc.).
…Or you can do like I did and order a dozen for yourself.
This bar makes me say BRING IT ON to emotional eating, because the more excuses to enjoy some chocolate the better. Duh.
The options are endless and it can get a little overwhelming, so let me help you get started.
My favorite combo: dark chocolate with banana, pretzels, coconut and peanut butter drops.
Runner up: dark chocolate with dried raspberries, cashews, dried blueberries and coconut.
Oh, and don’t worry about eating all this chocolate. If you start gettin’ a little thick in the middle, you can always buy some pajama jeans.

A.T. Mahan wrote a book in the late 1800's about the importance of seapower and it's influence on history. He discussed seven geographic "chokepoints". Control of those points gave one control over all world commerce and world economy.
Essentially it's "How to rule the world in seven easy lessons."
Five of those points control the movement of CHOCOLATE!
Y-E-S! It's that important!
