WTF Friday: The Internet Explained (By Morons)

People from the 1900′s sure were zany huh!? No but seriously, the century is an embarrassment to itself. Watch 2 seconds of this “how the internet works” video and prepare to cringe (while simultaneously ROTFLing).

The scariest part isn’t even the feathered hair of the Address Bar Stand-up Routine, it’s the fact that this video even needed to be made. Then again, spend three minutes showing your grandmother step-by-painful-step teaching her how to send an e-mail and you’ll probably understand why someone felt the need to make this.

This was made when internet was cutting edge.
Hard to believe, Netscape browser came online Aug 9, 1995. For some reason I remember that it was 50 years to the day after Nagasaki.
That means that the entire graduating HIGH SCHOOL class this year is older than broadband. The college classes may be older than the internet itself.
Many of your professors are older than color television. Their parents were older than radio and THEIR parents were older than electric motors and "flickers" or moving pictures.
What will YOUR children be laughing at when they look at YOUR old pictures and videos?

    scary …
