8 Under $20: Honeysuckle [GALLERY]

Every year, the Pantone Color Institute names a “color of the year.” This year’s pick is Honeysuckle, an “encouraging and uplifting” reddish-pink shade meant to “instill the confidence, courage and spirit to meet the exhaustive challenges that have become part of everyday life.” I definitely agree with Pantone on this choice — Honeysuckle is such an energetic and bright color, I can’t see it bringing anything buthappiness!

We’re only a month into 2011, and I’ve already seen this color start to pop up all over the place: fashion (tons of celebrities wore bright pink dresses on the red carpet at the recent Golden Globes and SAG Awards shows), home decor, and beauty. That’s great news: because it’s so popular, Honeysuckle clothing, accessories and cosmetics are available at prices even us broke college students can afford! AKA – under 20 bucks!
