Spring Break is right around the corner!! Can you tell I’m really excited? Come on, I know I’m not the only one.
But while it may seem like you can be as carefree as you want, truth is you need to take care of yourself, especially your skin! We all love us some Snooki, but no one wants to come back from SBXI looking like that. I’m not trying to lecture you or be your momma, but you must wear sunscreen! Every day! Not just while you’re lounging on the beach drinking margaritas or bikini skiing. Really, a killer tan is not worth the harm you can do to your skin.
I know these tips may be common sense, but to some people they’re not. And even if they are, well, we all need a little common sense reminder sometimes. Especially when we’re about to embark on a week-long bender. So below is a list of sunscreen tips and some recommendations. Watch the vid to protect yourself. And next week we’ll be back with ways to treat your sunburn if you somehow manage to get it.

Laying out in the sun in very bad for your skin and it makes you look old before your time.

People will never stop laying out, which is why we're trying to educate on how to be safe if you're out in the sun. Also, a little sun provides vitamin D and helps combat depression. It's all about personal choices and making sure you're safe!

Do you know of any sunscreens designed specifically for the face, for oily skin in particular? My skin always seems to get that greasy sunscreen look and feel.

Hi Sarah, you need to look for something noncomedogenic, which means it won't clog your pores and make you more oily. I recommend the Aveeno on a daily basis because it doesn't have that greasy feel and it's really light. You can also look for an ultra sheer sunscreen. If you're having trouble with finding something, I'd also recommend getting a moisturizer that has sunscreen built which you can find in all different lines from Aveeno to Clinique! I hope this helps

Aveeno is nice but their recent products have small sparkling particles that if you have dry skin it will look nice, but oily noooo, also their tinted moisturizer suuucks so badly if you have dry or oily skin. Clinique is great, Neutrogena its also amazing.

Jennifer, I'm curious which Aveeno products you're using. None of my Aveeno, even my new stuff, has sparkly particles. I do love Clinique and Neutrogena also
