    What about ethnic studies majors?

    I think you hit the nail on the head there. However I'm an engineering major and fall outside of your stock description. I love pink nail polish and dresses, but still have a passion for math and sci. But there's always the exception to the rule.

    I know this is a little late/the post has been up for a while, but thanks for keepign it positive. I was expecting to read snarky comments about each major, so it was a pleasant surprise to read nice things.

    im sorry but if your going to just go out and call engineer majors nerds and social outcasts i really do have to tell you that a chemistry major is just as nerdy. the only difference is when an engineer graduates, his starting paycheck is triple what a chem major would make with 10 years experience. So when it comes to the judging eyes of others, rich nerd trumps "socially acceptable nerd" anyday

    also your art, art history major character assessment is ridiculous… just because someone studies something your mommy and daddy think is absurd does not make them mentally inbalanced. most of these people either move on to the fashion industry (where if they make it also make more money than you) or to film.

    and lastly the pre-med students you mentioned more than once. At my college, more than half of the science faculty wished to be pre-med but didnt get in. which leads me to think you may or may not be part of the bitter half.

    @heather

    Uhhhm did u read a different article than everyone else? I’m pretty certain the words “social outcast” and “nerd” where never mentioned. This was actually a positive article about different majors…

    Probably not mentioned because we never leave studio and thus she's never met an architecture major.

Tell us what you're thinking...
