What It Is:
Rouge Bunny Rouge Decadent Duo in Ramba Cubana
Why This Should Be in Your Bag:
Duo products are always super fun, but also risky. What happens if you buy a duo and don’t like one of the sides? Or if you only WANT one of the sides but have to fork over more money for a duo? Beauty brands take risks when they pair products together and have to ensure that both are of the highest quality AND complement each other. Rouge Bunny Rouge Decadent Duos pair a liquid blush (an “oil-in-water emulsion, to water your cheeks with bare color and to impart an extremely natural and even finish”) and a lipgloss (“a soothing blend of Lotus Flower Extract and yummy Mango Butter and speaks of wild freshness, naturally”).
Rouge Bunny Rouge is a brand based out of Russia (my #1 travel lust!) and is quickly gaining pace in the European market. With a super strong vision, wrapped in fairytales and inspired by everything from magic gardens to royal princesses, Rouge Bunny Rouge is poised to break into the states soon! The prices are a bit “up there,” but the quality of the products is definitely equal to familiar high-end brands.
How To Use It:
The Decadent Duos come in four shades and I tested out Rumba Cabana, a pairing of “sheer rosewood” lipgloss and “luminous rosewood” liquid blush. They are SUPER easy and foolproof to apply. I like to dot the blush on my cheeks and blend out with my fingers and then swipe the lipgloss on with the applicator. Ta-da!

(L: Cabana & Rumba – R: Cabana blended out & Rumba)
CC Rating: A
The color of both Rumba (the lipgloss) and Cabana (the blush) are very natural and would work on lots of skintones, especially fair to medium. The blush is very pigmented and a little goes a long way, which means that you’re getting your money’s worth! This is also a mark of high quality. The lipgloss is non-sticky, but imparts a rosy sheen that is quite pigmented. The scent of the lipgloss is slightly citrusy, but also has a synthetic-ness to it. I prefer MAC’s sweet vanilla scent, but wasn’t put off by this one at all.
I really liked the idea of a blush/lipgloss duo; these are two products that I like to take with me in the makeup bag because they both tend to fade off my face. The tube is super tiny and would fit in any purse, including a small evening wristlet or clutch, so you’ll always be covered when you need a touch-up.
Overall, I loved this product. The color match-up was bang-on and I have found myself reaching for my Decadent Duo when I need a fool-proof blush or lipgloss choice. Rumba Cabana is super versatile and even though it’s not punchy, it works. The only thing that would hold me back from ordering the whole color selection is the price and availability. Rouge Bunny Rouge is hard to find and when you do, it’s a bit pricey. The Decadent Duos retails for about $45 US and you have to include international shipping charges in there. If you’re a luxury beauty girl, this will seem like peanuts, but gals on a budget have to save up for a splurge like that!

These look so GREAT! I love the fact that they have a fairytale theme. I am a sucker for anything fairytale. The colors look so beautiful and that is fantastic to have a blush paired with a lip gloss. What a fun find.
