Based on the Kardashian family antics (sex tapes, babies out of wedlock, a pimp daddy brother who takes bubble baths with random skanks in hotels, 100 babies with K names), this announcement is really not surprising in the least.

Memorial Day weekend is here! School is out, barbecues are in and it’s that in-between week where you’re home from school and not on to your summer plans yet, be it trip or internship or job. So the perfect thing to do with mom this weekend (aside from eating hot dogs and slaw)?!
Shop. Duh!
Sales are EVERYWHERE. Seriously, now is a great time to get everything from shoes to mattresses. Where do you start?! What should you stock up on?! So many choices and so little time to hit all the stores! Life is so hard! Wah.
Lucky for you I hit up four of our favorites and picked a few of my must-haves from the sales. From Nordstrom’s Half-yearly Sale (I enjoy this weekend more than my birthday weekend) to Gap, Macy’s and Old Navy, there are deals to be had, people. And when deals are on, you can count on your trusty Budget Stylista to help you find the best styles for cheap.
Every few weeks a celebrity rider makes the rounds. And every time it makes my mouth drop open. I get it. They’re super rich and super famous and can make ridiculous demands. But even so, sometimes the demands get a little too ridiculous. Like WTF, mouth on the floor, ridiculous. Like, at what point do you feel comfortable putting it in writing that your lamps need to French ornate style!?!
Also, slightly unrelated. But Stair vs. Stare. Who wrote this?
Thanks to Amy Grindhouse for revealing Katy’s carnation hatred!

Dig your crop tops out of your closet, iron some patches on to your jean jacket, and sprinkle on some body glitter because we’re planning the ultimate ’90s Throwback Summer Festival.
It’s going to be hotter than Kate Winslet’s hand on a steamy car window and we’re here to give you an all-access pass to the excitement. We got stand-up comedian Joey Gladstone hosting the event, Alex Mac reciting the 10 things she hates about cliché ’90s movies, and Carl Winslow running the security team. And in between all that jam-packed action, we’re re-introducing your absolute favorite performers from the ’90s.
Contact us today (IluvZachMorris@AOL.com) to get details on how to win a cassette recording of the entire event. Read More »

I hope to never know what it feels like to lose someone during a war, never getting closure or being able to say my goodbyes. I know it may sound greedy, but I never want any member of my family to enter into a part of the Army/Marines/National Guard, because I don’t want to worry about them every second of the day. Not knowing when I’ll be able to contact them next, and wondering why I haven’t heard from them for days, weeks, at a time.
The men and women who do enter into the armed forces are extraordinary people who are willing to risk everything for the benefit of, well, you. The soldiers that are there are protecting you and making a safer place for you. The crazy part? They don’t even know you…but are still hopeful that their part will help to change our society.
Memorial day began in 1868 when members of the Grand Army of the Republic requested to decorate the graves of their friend. Since than, Memorial Day has become a time when the US honors the fallen heroes of all of its wars. Read More »

Single and maybe not quite ready to mingle Ryan Reynolds recently opened up to Details Magazine. When asked about his very public divorce he said, “I have not interest in dating right now. It just seems so kind of alien to me at this point … I don’t think I want to get married again.”
Yes, what you hear is the sound of my heart shattering. Into a billion tiny pieces. As I scrape the bottom of the ice cream tub.

[Like it or not, we all judge people every day. Especially when it comes to their fashion choices. From the girl with the too-short skirt for class to the old guy who insists on wearing short shorts and doing butterfly stretches at the gym (yeah, try to get that visual out of your head), it's impossible not to form an opinion. And now we're gonna share those opinions with the world. Every week, I'll be highlighting a celebrity look that I may love/hate/not understand and see what you, my college fashionistas, think about it. So put on your Joan Rivers fashion cap (which is undoubtedly made out of all the skin she's had nipped and tucked over the years) and let it all out.]
Blake Lively accepted her award for Breakthough Performer of the Year in a dazzling red Maschesa dress and Brian Atwood heels at this year’s CinemaCon Awards. The dress had a red sheer-pannelled bodice and a ruffled tulle skirt, and she paired it with simple chandellier earrings and fresh makeup.
Blake Lively can do no wrong in terms of fashion choices. Let’s face it; she’s about 10 feet tall and her legs go on forever. She has the body that us mere mortals can only dream of. But this outfit is…questionable. On paper, it really should work. Red= good. Tulle= good. Sheer paneling = good. But together, it just feels a little bit… costumey.
What do think of this ensemble? Hot or a total hot mess?

Hiring a decorator to trick-out your campus living quarters might come across as a tad eccentric. Not to mention a little out of our meager price ranges.

Yeah, we might have just moved out of the dorms but it’s never too early to start pimping out our rooms for next year. And really, what else do you have to do all day at that summer internship?
