As fashion fans, we all eagerly await the newest collections each season, oohing and ahhing over the looks we see on the runways. However, as college students, our budgets usually keep those runway looks out of reach. But with a little digging, you can create similar ensembles without emptying out your bank account. Every week, I’ll show you how to get a different runway look for less.

First up is the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 collection. Back in March, his runway show featured an assortment of multi-colored striped pieces and brightly-colored accessories paired with neutrals. Jacobs’ show featured two hot Spring 2011 trends: bright colors and minimalism.

There are lots of reasons why different singers and bands collaborate with each other: to gain crossover potential, to feature an up-and-coming artist, or simply just for the sake of name-dropping. Safety Reserves – we all have them. In July, some people look forward to the 4th, getting exited about the BBQs, beers and bathing suits. Others look forward to outdoor festivals, days spent in sundresses sipping iced coffee, eating lunch outside, FINALLY having weather warm enough to eat fro-yo and wear those 9,000 pairs of sandals and wedges sitting pretty in their boxes.

Yes, you read that right. The owner of a hair salon in Russia, a 28-year-old woman who also happens to be a black belt, overtook a man trying to rob her salon, apparently taking him down with a single kick. She then proceeded to drag him to the back of the salon, tie him to a chair with a hair dryer cable, force fed him Viagra and keep him around for three days as a sex slave.

Wait, what? What are they teaching those women over in Russia? So she can knock out a man, great. But keeping him around as a sex slave is just…WTF.

There’s nothing worse than a dry spell. Especially when it comes to one of our favorite shows on TV. But luckily for all of us Gleeks, we no longer have to live without our fave Glee club buddies. Why? Because they’re coming to the big screen on August 12th and we couldn’t be more excited to see them in 3D. I mean, this is probably as close to Darren Criss’s beautiful face as we’ll ever get. Take what you can get ladies, take what you can get.

So sit back, grab your slushie (refrain from throwing it in anyone’s face) and watch the trailer. Then start your countdown to August 12th.

The hot messes that are our favorite celebrities. Ah, what would a typical day in Hollywood be without nip slips and exposed undies for the paparazzi and the rest of the world to see? As we all know, you can’t have the glitz and glamour without the A-list slip-ups and infamously disheveled stars. Let us revel in the moments of celebrity dysfunction that always seem to draw attention not to any particular talent, but to ever-present trifling tendencies.

The beginning stages of a new relationship are always the best. Thinking about the other person gives you butterflies, every date is an exciting new adventure, and you aren’t close enough for him to start discussing his farting habits with you.

But it is also a little scary. You want to show that special man who you are, but not enough to scare him off before you have the chance to steal his super-comfy sweatpants. And you find yourself constantly wondering if he thinks about you as much as you think about him, why he hasn’t called yet and if he minded that you screamed really loudly while watching Saw 3 the night before.

Ah condoms.

It turns out our fave rubbery friends are being used for much more these days.

Forget safe sex and those lovely balloons, condoms have invaded the world of couture. Who knows, maybe some designer on Project Runway will start sending our frisky friends down the catwalk in one of those crazy material challenges.  I don’t know about you, but I think these dresses are looking pretty fabulous (and could serve as a nice reminder at the end of the night to wrap it up).
