10 Foods We Should Definitely Fry

It seems as though America’s decided that our cuisine consists of anything sugary, buttery or covered in batter and then thrown into a deep fryer. Whether it be pickles, candy bars or guacamole, our fatty specialties are constantly getting bad reviews from angry nutritionists. Instead of trying to put a stop to these seriously unhealthy treats, I vote we continue this heart-disease-inducing practice and make even bigger discoveries in the culinary art of boiling oil.

      @heidi – best article yet! i'm sitting here debating on whether or not it would be a good idea to deepfry an icecream drumstick….. i'm thinking battering in pancake batter. i'll let you know how this turns out.

      Fried banana critters are actually available in some of the tropical countries in the world!

      I actually have eaten fried veggies before, and fried pickles and squash are surprisingly very good!
