Celebrity Chic on the Cheap: Eva Longoria is Wonderous in White

I’ve been obsessed Eva Longoria ever since the very first episode of Desperate Housewives. In addition to her beauty, her comedic timing is impeccable, and she’s always seemed really down to earth and like a total delight to be around (my friends who have run into her in Texas have confirmed this!). She has a low-key style that is sophisticated and chic, with subtle trendy elements popping up occasionally.

I love the “whiteout” look. It’s simple, but still very striking. A white blazer is the perfect late summer layering piece to add another dimension to any ensemble. In this instance, you can use it to dress up a plain white tank top. White shorts are sexy, while still being casual and functional. White bangles are a cute addition to this outfit, and you could throw in a separate color to add some flair. To break the monotony of the outfit, Eva went for some cobalt sandals, which is an interesting color choice, but still appropriate for summer (totally reminiscent of ocean water).

What I love most about this outfit is that every piece is versatile, and could easily be worn a million different ways, but this combination is relaxed, sophisticated, and effortlessly stylish.
