Redheads get a bad rap. Perhaps Carrot Top made one too many of those 1-800 Collect commercials when we were younger (oh, the mental scarring!) and caused an entire society to rebel against their strawberry haired brethren, I’m really not sure. But life as a redhead ain’t easy, people. Really- the freckles, the pale skin, the general hate from everyone else…

Well, that was until Ron Weasley Rupert Grint made it sorta cool again. Okay, so in fairness it took him getting seriously hot for everyone to wake up to the “oh, gingers aren’t so bad after all” realization. But regardless, we’ve come a long way. So in honor of his birthday, we’d like to present you with our favorite red headed celebs.

      Interesting to see that "redhead" means different colors to different people. I'd call about half of these "warm brunette" personally haha.

      You put Lindsay Lohan but no Marcia Cross, Drew Barrymore or Amy Adams? (and I'm a blonde but I went through a phase as a kid where I wanted to be a redhead SO badly!)

      wikipedia lists her as a redhead. the actual actress isn't a natural redhead, but has been dyeing it for years. JUST SAYIN
