The Weekly Ten: My Dream DVR
September 26, 2011 9:30 am Posted in Entertainment Courtney - Bridgewater State University g+ page

Thank god it’s fall TV time, I was beyond done with summer reruns and all of those teasers they kept throwing at us. I think we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief that Snookie is back in our lives.
But with all of these new shows I’m finding myself sitting alone in front of the TV, rather than out with friends. Like most poor college students I don’t have money for any sort of DVR/Premium cable package. It’s basic cable or bust on my block. And although Hulu is a good alternative to staying in, it’s no DVR. So as a gift, and to make sure you are all in the same boat as me, here are my top ten must-have-in-my-dream-dvr-shows:

I love Will Arnet AND Maya Rudolph so I really wanted to love this show more than I did. I guess nothing will ever replace Arrested Development…

Did you watch the second episode of Up All Night as well? I thought the pilot was just okay, but I got several good laughs out of the second episode. It my just not be the show for you, and I'm still not completely sold on it, but I'd recommend giving it at least two episodes before you give up.

I don't know if I'd go that far, but I might. I honestly didn't realize how attached I'd grown to Happy Endings until I was super relieved to hear that they were renewed for a second season. I can't wait for the season premiere tonight!
