We get it boys, you like girls in short shorts. But you know what, we’re not all six-foot tall supermodels with legs that go on for miles. And not all of us want to wear short shorts. They’re not flattering if you’ve put on the frosh fifteen, and for some reason retailers sell ones that don’t even cover a gals cheeks (now don’t even get me started on women who buy these). But how about guys in short shorts? While you don’t see them everyday on the street, there are those guys who flaunt their legs in the short shorts. Everyone has a closet full of logo tees. Tees from concerts, beach-side festivals, and the like. I’m always puzzled as to what to do with these shirts. Sure, they make great bedtime tees and workout gear, but what if you really like your Death Cab for Cutie concert tee and want to wear it on a normal day, just in a super fashionable way? It’s Labor Day so we simply could not resist putting up smoking pictures of men, well, laboring. We really don’t need an excuse to drool over sexy men, but this was just too easy. Please kick back, grab a beer, and celebrate your day off with these hard working hunks.
I’m not sure if it’s just this time of year, or if it’s because I’m about to end one job (which pays my bills), but lately I just feel like I’m constantly drowning. You know, that feeling where you’re just stuck underwater and you can’t get up no matter how hard you try…so you just keep sinking. Taking on more things to bide the time, but in reality wishing you had less on your plate.
It’s times like this when I usually run away to avoid an extreme panic attack. Don’t believe me? I’ve gone as far as San Diego just to escape from this feeling. But this time, mostly because of my lease, I’m forced to stay in one place and fight this thing out. Although I am still taking a passive aggressive approach to escaping by applying for The Bachelor (not that I have any hope at being chosen). Since I’m attempting to deal with this like a grown up, I figured the best escape would be to create a mental happy space…like a perfect little desert island filled with my ten favorite things:
