Super-short hemlines, androgyny, shift dresses and flat shoes. Open any magazine this fall and you’ll see it right there; mod is back. So put on Austin Powers and watch some reruns of America’s Next Top Model (only the seasons where Twiggy judged or then you’re just watching ANTM reruns…), and channel your inner Edie Sedgwick, but please leave the heroin addiction at home.
Designer Mary Quant made the mini a mod staple, and it hasn’t gone out of style since. This season put away your maxis and bring out your teeny tiniest hemlines. Not big on short dresses (pun intended)? Sport a menswear-inspired pant and sweetheart collar with some chandelier earrings and you’ll be mod-ready too!
