Rent the Runway Look of the Week: Classing Up Halloween!

Yes, yes I know… Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it…But what should the rest of us wear? I’m not wild about sluttin’ it up in the freezing cold nights in October (brrr), or donning a Halloween outfit that draws immense attention to each slice of pizza I’ve eaten in the past year of my lovely flaws.

When it comes to my Halloween outfits, I strive for versatility. It has to work for the day parties ( I would not want to be caught dead in front of a professor in a skanky outfit, Halloween is a Monday, FYI) while still being sexy for the night parties. How else will I attract the goblins, ghouls, LMFAO partiers, or Old Spice guys that will be running around campus?

Of course if you’re a leotard girl then by all means, grab those bunny ears and call it a day! If not, I’ve picked some dresses from RTR. With a quick add on or two you’ll have yourself a perfect Halloween costume. No need to break the bank or spend hours and hours sewing.

First up:  Pumpkin

Rent this Roksanda Ilincic dress, make a green felt hat and you have yourself a perfect pumpkin outfit!

Next Up: Eve

This emerald Milly frock is an easy start to an Eve costume. All that’s left for you to do is to grab some fake ivy for your hair and carry around an apple (which might help you fend off the drunk munchies later…)

Finally: Flapper

This Anna Sui number will bring you back to the 1920’s. Throw on a long strand of fake pearls and some cute heels and you’ll be retro ready.
