WTF Friday: Tiki, the Ugly Bobble-Head Barbie

Um, basically…. this video is ridiculous. If you haven’t seen it, you should.

Yes, Tiki, Steve Jobs has actually died. Moron.

The cosmetic guru of the century (sporting the ugly, unfinished bronzer Bobble-head look) attacks Jobs and the Apple industry for overpricing their products.  While she pays respect to Jesus – who apparently died a million years ago – she asserts that Jobs should have tried harder to emulate the Son of God by donating all of his money to those who needed it. How To Communicate Without Your Phone

In light of the recent Blackberry outages, which just so happened to coincide with the day before the iPhone 4S was released (conspiracy alert!), it’s come to our attention that we are obsessed with our phones. We can’t go five minutes without checking our phones to see if we have texts, emails, tweets, or Facebook messages. It’s getting ridiculous. During Blackberry-gate, my friends who couldn’t use their BBM service were going berserk. Thankfully, I have an iPhone so I wasn’t affected (it sounds like some kind of plague doesn’t it?).

Friday Faves: Breast Cancer Isn’t an Older Woman’s Disease

The following post was written by Liz, a CollegeCandy reader and 21-year-old breast cancer survivor.

I was your typical college sophomore. I was active on campus, had a great group of friends, and kept myself busy with schoolwork. I was enjoying my time at The College of New Jersey, and felt truly blessed with an amazing life.

Then in April 2009, everything changed completely. In the midst of studying for final exams and celebrating the end of the school year, I was going back and forth between TCNJ and New York City for doctor visits. I had found a lump in my right breast, and went for tests and exams just as a precaution. Although I was optimistic and really believed I had nothing to worry about, I received the news that nobody wants to hear: I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Read More »

A Feel Good Friday Video

Start your weekend off right with this adorable puppy. He’s not so sure about opera, and neither am I. His quizzical expression is ten times cuter due to his chubby little legs. I am squealing and planning how to dog-nap him.

Just kidding.

Or am I? Read More »

When Sex Gets Scary

Everybody loves a good lay, and if you’re one of the lucky ones: a daily lay.  There is no better feeling than the mind-blowing ecstasy found in the heat of the moment. The ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’, followed closely by ‘more’ and ‘yes!’ The quick change of positions, the satisfaction on your partner’s face, the satisfaction of your own soaking body, the smell of the room after you’re finished…ah, sex. It’s the perfect way to begin, end and improve your day.

Just thinking about it gives me goose bumps. Actually, I’m thinking about taking a sick day….

Okay, so I love a lot about sex. I know you get the point. But there are a few things about sex that just don’t tickle my fancy (which is seriously saying something). Call me crazy and old-fashioned but I’m not one for scary, horrifying sex; things like farting while having sex (trust me, it happens more often than you think), or coming-to mid black-out and asking where you are…those are minor issues. Oh, there is no greater stain on the foundation of sex than these… Read More »

Hot or Hot Mess: Emma Stone at The Help London Premiere in Luca Luca

I’ve gotta say, when I first picked this as this week’s outfit, I wasn’t really sold on it. I picked it for my notorious “on-the-fence” posts. But after having some time away from it, I actually really like it.

It’s a very unusual dress. A strange mix of conservative (the covered shoulders) and a little sexy (the thigh-high slit) and not something everyone can pull off, but Emma Stone has this amazing ability to pull off certain things that would look hideous on other people. I love the print (polka dots are huge for Spring/Summer 2012) and this dress has that straight-off-the-runway look while also looking super-wearable. She doesn’t look like she’s tried too hard. I love that Emma Stone always seems to have fun with the fact that she’s young and never tries to dress too old. This is the perfect dress for a young, hot star. Read More »
