Sadly, some of our favorite childhood boy band studs…that we fawned over and fantasized about marrying…have fallen from grace. We know not everyone is Justin Timberlake (or Trousersnake as Amanda Seyfried calls him) and therefore can’t transition out of the boy band life. He managed to become a successful actor, hilarious host of SNL and bring sexy back at the same time. Few others have done as well as JT, which is pretty depressing. I mean, we hoped these Bieber forefathers would stick around until we were old enough to be with them. But, that dream is gone.

Last week’s column called for me to ask a writer at COED Magazine the burning questions girls have about guys. This week, I am answering the burning questions guys want to know from girls. (I’ll be honest, I laughed quite a few time when I read the questions). Ohh, the mind of a guy! So here you have it, some female insight to those 21 questions.

Why do you kill your children?

Why do men beat their wives? These kinds of questions don’t have one simple answer. People are crazy and take their emotions to an entirely different level that causes them to do harmful things. In my opinion, it’s a matter of control. Men beat their wives to have total control over them emotionally and physically (well that, and guys like that are nuts!), while I assume women kill their children because there’s a lack of control over their own lives (…and those women are crazy). Case and point, Casey Anthony. However, I don’t think this question is as simple as you’ve posed it to be! …And quite a generalization for that matter. (Men kill their kids, too, ya know!)

Hey Dude,

I’ve got an itch that I really need your help to scratch. I’ve been with my boyfriend for about a year and we’ve been in an amazing, serious relationship that we’ve both come to greatly enjoy. He never fails to take care of me, tell me how much I mean to him, make sure me and my family are doing well, and do everything I could’ve ever possibly want in a boyfriend. We’ve been through some road bumps here and there like every relationship, but it’s never deterred us from wanting to be together and talking about the future together. However, I was a little confused when I was on his laptop the other day and saw some porn on it. Now, I’m not sure what to think. It wasn’t a collection of it, but at the same time, I’m not sure if I’m overreacting or not from a girl’s perspective. I thought we were doing well (sexually) but seeing this makes me doubt us at least in the bedroom. Am I not giving him enough? Am I just… bad? What does this mean? Do all guys do this? Should I be thinking differently considering we’re in a relationship? What should I do?!

The other day, my friend and I were driving to Hudson (Wisco) on a Sunday afternoon to buy some wine.  Yes, that calculation all together means we physically left the state we were in (Minnesota) and cruised controlled our way to Wisconsin so we could legally buy booze. On a Sunday.

If I were a little less creative (and didn’t have an editor), I would probably highlight Kate Moss every week. I’m so obsessed with her personal style. It’s rarely flashy, but it’s always sleek, sexy, and totally put-together. I wouldn’t expect anything less from someone who somehow still makes smoking seem like a hot lifestyle choice.

This floral blazer is giving me everything I need right now. It’s gorgeous, fun, vibrant, and feminine. Pairing it with a simple black tank neutralizes it and adds some subtle sexy appeal. Kate boldly breaks the “no white after Labor Day” rule and I love it. It’s easy to bring white into fall and winter by combining it with darker colors, and it’s a great, unexpected color choice for pants. Dark accessories continue to ground the ensemble. Tall black boots are never a bad choice, and a large black bag is a neutral, functional piece. This is an easy, accessible, casual look that would definitely turn heads your way when you’re walking to class.

I see a lot of couples making out on campus. On the grass, on the comfy couches in the library, even in class, you can probably find some form of PDA. But NONE of these people come close to the disgusting PDA celebrities do. Some celebs we don’t mind seeing making out because they’re classy about it. But Justin and Selena??? Seriously?? You guys are practically babies!
