I’m convinced everyone thinks about their wedding day. Even if it’s an event you can’t picture taking place for another 15 years, you’ve at least considered the possibility that it could happen. And when you imagine this most sacred of days, you likely also wonder who you’ll be standing up there with. He (or she) will be wildly attractive, that’s obvious. They’ll be brilliant and funny and love puppies, also a duh. But will they be a good kisser? Of course! Wait…right?
Some couples wait to take the big plunge until after they’re lawfully wed. Please note that when I say “big plunge,” I’m not talking about sex. That’s right, in certain religious communities and social spheres, it’s somewhat commonplace to wait until your wedding day before so much as kissing your future husband or wife. Read More »

Question?! Answer: Ask Tuffy Luv. (You KNOW this.)
Dear Tuffy Luv,
I stole my best friend’s boyfriend.
I know it sounds bad but here’s the situation. She didn’t love him. They were just dating because he asked her out and she was too lazy to break up with him. She was always complaining that he wasn’t thoughtful enough or romantic enough and etc.
But I saw something really special in this guy. Let’s call him T. He is the nicest sweetest person and we always had chemistry. I actually introduced them. T and I had a lit class together and we always hung out. I took him to a party and he though my best friend was really cute so I set them up.
But then I watched how she treated him (not good — making him carry things and complaining about him to me behind his back) and I realized I had developed feelings for him. Read More »

We’ve always known that Angie is pretty weird. I mean you can’t take back marrying Billy Bob Thornton or making-out-with-your-brother days. Recent stories reveal that she wanted to be a funeral director when she was younger, and that isn’t your typical dream career…for a woman. But is it a good career path for a vampire? We think so. We definitely admire her for her charity work as a Goodwill Ambassador, but maybe this is a cover up for the truth. If we see her out in the daylight, she’s always covered up. Perhaps to avoid the scalding sunlight? If we’ve learned anything from Twilight it’s that vampires are very pretty, and she hasn’t seemed to age in a while. Maybe because she’s stuck at the age when she was turned! She doesn’t do anything to disparage rumors about her, but how can she if they’re true?
One of her former staff members has come out with some other weirdness that leads us to believe, without a doubt, that Angelina Jolie could be a vampire…

I always feel bad for Nikki Reed. I know she’s in the Twilight movies, but she definitely feels more like a third or fourth tier cast member. I feel like whenever anyone thinks “ladies of Twlight,” Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene are the first to come to mind, and Nikki only gets recognition/interviews when Kristen and Ashley are otherwise preoccupied. Although at the end of the day, she’s getting far more bank than I ever will (and has way better hair than I do), so maybe I should save my pity for someone more deserving. But why does she look like a gun is being held to her head on the cover? She’s too pretty to look so deranged.
Luckily, the inside of the magazine is a lot more aesthetically pleasing. There’s an abundance of cute holiday fashion (at mostly reasonable prices). I also really appreciate that Seventeen did not promote dieting this issue. They supported eating your favorite treats, but emphasized the importance of moderation. I definitely prefer that message to deprivation, so brava Seventeen. Of course, no issue is complete without relationship advice. This month was definitely focused on “decoding” guys. Without further ado… Read More »

In the words of Rachel Zoe, I love sunnies. They’re perfect for accessorizing, but even more perfect for avoiding eye contact with those around you. And if you really don’t want to talk to anyone, wear them inside. That will also make you look like a celebrity. If they’re big enough, you can go out sans-makeup. They can make an outfit a lot more fabulous with little effort.
I’ve pulled some of the coolest sunnies out there. I rock Aviators myself, check them out… Read More »

It’s pretty evident that Adderall and other prescription ADD and ADHD medications are everywhere on college campuses. Whether you’re getting it via script from your health center, the frat guy who thinks he’s a dealer, or your best friend, these drugs are abused all over the country. When I was younger there were only a handful of kids my age that had a prescription for Adderall or Ritalin, and now it seems every other person I know has it. Adderall is commonly referred to as “legal speed” because it’s an amphetamine, and without a prescription and correct dosage it can be really dangerous. I see kids in the library popping pills alongside energy drinks and wonder how their hearts don’t explode. I have a serious caffeine addiction, but at least coffee has its health benefits and you don’t need a prescription for it.
If you have a prescription, great. If you don’t, stop annoying your friends with prescriptions because if you really needed it then you would have your own. While it can make you sit down and knock out that ten-page paper or cram for an exam, try these alternatives first… Read More »
