The Dos and Don’ts of Re-Gifting

Being a broke college student, I don’t have the money to buy everyone on my list a nice gift. Enter re-gifiting.

Re-gifting, for those of you who don’t know, is when you take a terrible gift someone has given you, and then you give it someone else. Obviously this can work in your favor or be a total disaster. To make sure you don’t get caught in your re-gifting scheme, we have some dos and don’ts for you.

  1. Jamie says:

My friends and I keep regifiting each other with the same bottle of red wine….no one says anything. But we all kinda know. And the worst part is that it probably originally came from someone's parent's collection.

  2. Lisa says:

Dont regift… how is that for a rule
If you can't afford gifts, give something cheap but personal. If you can't figure out a personal gift, then dont give gifts, then you are not on gift terms.
Gifts should be given from the heart, or not at all!
