Sundays Are For Procrastinating: Meet Two Australian Hipsters

Even though “hipsters don’t exist” according to hipsters, we think hipsters are pretty funny. Sometimes I wear a v-neck and my glasses, and I feel so un-trendily trendy. Hipsters are known for wearing super skinny jeans, v-necks, and listening to music that you’ve probably never heard of. They drink PBR and are really into indie films, often ones in foreign languages without subtitles. They’re all for sustainability and the environment and have no problem telling you that you’re a conformist. Hipsters are everywhere these days and are ironically really trendy.

I know a lot of folks who think like these 53% ers. A faadnmentul motive common among them for this kind of thinking is that they have a bizarre belief (in faadnmentulist-drunk America this translates to all facts are subordinate to what I believe is reality’) that if the system is brought down, they will be deprived of achieving their fortunes because the Secret tells us it’s just a matter of working hard, keeping their noses to the grindstone, believing and thinking positively that they’ll achieve will magically allow them to wake up one day, a member of that owning class. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. I gave that up after 20 years in, earning less and working more than when I started. How do I know this is true about them? When I present facts from their own lives, they glaze over like a faadnmentulist and resort to their right to have their own say. I love em but their credibility is generally held in lower regard in my mind.
