With 2012 coming in strong, I can’t get over how weird TV keeps getting. Consistently bad reality TV, shows cancelled left and right… I can’t stand it.  That’s why I can’t help but be nostalgic for the early 2000′s and late 1990′s. As a TV addict, I’m always reminiscing about my old favorites. Now that we’re old enough to remember shows we loved from middle school, or even earlier, we can actually miss the good TV we used to watch.

Here’s a list of 20 shows that I wish were still airing new episodes. RIP favorite TV. We shall meet again in Netflix Heaven.

      Friday Night Lights! 100% yes. Also 100% yes to Summer Heights High! Thank goodness for Netflix, I don't have it in me to let these shows go.

      3rd Rock From The Sun has to be – hands down – one of THE most under-appreciated sitcoms of all time.
      Such a great show, I wish it was still on the air. Good thing I have the DVD box set.

      I agree I don't buy many shows on DVD but i own seasons 1-3 and have watched all of the episodes at least 4 times. I love the way the show portrays high school in a non-sugar coated manner. Neptune High School reminds me of my old hs so much!

      I didn't get into sex and the city until last year, and I can't believe what I was missing. I WANT TO BE CARRIE BRADSHAW. Ahh!

      They can keep making movies and I'll keep going to see them!

      I used to make fun of Sex and the City…. until I realized that it's amazing. A huge part of my winter break was spent watch SATC reruns.

      I was going to throw an absolute fit if Pushing Daisies wasn't on there.
      However, I must add Firefly. Must.
      October Road was a good one.
      I almost said My So Called Life, but who knows what would have happened to Jared Leto's career if that had stayed on.

      adfad this list made me freak out. My all time favorite shows are Will and Grace, Friends, and Seinfeld. I feel everyone says they're great but weren't actually into them enough to be able to talk about them, which I love. Dance on, everyone, dance on. Finger pointing, kicking and all. Except towards the end, Seinfeld started to get pretty bad :(

      SCRUBS should have been numero 1 of missed shows …. I have seen all the seasons twice already and cant wait till my middle child gets older so that I can watch it again ….
