Sophia Grace and Rosie have done it again! The adorable, British, tutu-wearing sisters wowed us again with a performance on Ellen. The performance started off with a rendition of “Turn My Swag On” by Keri Hilson then moved to an original rap by Sophia Grace. You read that correctly, Sophia Grace rapped. As adorable as it is, I’m upset because I, a nineteen-year old, can’t even rap as well as an eight-year old. And trust me, I’ve tried. Sophia Grace and Rosie are quite the pair and I’m looking forward to seeing what they do next. Read More »

Good lord. If these two really start dating, there is no doubt they will go down in history as the world’s most boring couple ever. And can you imagine what this will do for Taylor’s career? She’s made entire albums bashing bad ex-boyfriends. What could she possibly write about Tebow? Taylor’s next album is sure to have some amens and hallelujahs.
Celebuzz first reported that the two were seen talking for a good portion of the night during an Oscar’s party. They were then spotted on Monday having dinner with a group in Century City’s Toscanova restaurant. No, they didn’t leave dinner together, but he did walk her out at the end of the night. The thought of these two definitely has the potential to trigger a gag reflex, but we cannot deny that they might just be perfect for each other. They definitely make some similar facial expressions…

There’s something about spending the night with someone that makes you feel so content and appreciated. Not just the sex, mind you. There doesn’t even have to be sex. But sleeping over? Late night pillow talk and a warm body pressed against you? Amazing. Well, if it’s done right. In order for it to be done right, both parties should at least adhere to the following sleeping over guidelines…
DON’T hog the bed.
Especially if you are the guest! Taking up 90% of your own bed with splayed limbs and spread out hair is perfectly fine (actually, it’s divine). But in someone else’s bed it’s not ideal. Even if it’s your own bed, relinquish a little space to your guest; there’s not much point in having them there otherwise. Same with blankets — leaving someone with an inch of blanket and nary a pillow is selfish! If you really need to, buy more pillows.
DO give warning if you have to leave early.
Dashing out of bed early in the morning and leaving while your bedfellow is still asleep is just plain rude. If you must leave early, let them know the night before so that they don’t immediately label you an asshat for loving and leaving. Read More »

Today is a very special day, Leap Day! It only comes every four years so it should be treated as a day to do things you wouldn’t normally do. For the four million leap-babies in the world (including my aunt, Happy Birthday!), today is a very special day. By doing things you don’t usually do today, it’s kind of like you’re celebrating with them all. Whether you choose to do “shameful” things or use this day as a “day to give back,” I think you should make it a day to remember. Here are my suggestions:

Dear Dude,
I started college this year, and I live in an all freshmen honors dorm. I met a guy who lives on my floor. He is adorable, funny, nerdy, sweet, a bit arrogant and I love being around him. Even better, we have a thousand things in common, and we are in the same major, which is a relatively small department. We’re gonna know each other for the rest of our college years whether I like it or not. Which I do.

I remember the days when my nose was pressed against the screen in English class, trying to hide the fact that I was scrolling through Perez Hilton. I was obsessed with checking Perez regularly. How many pee-pees was he going to draw on Jennifer Love-Hewitt’s face today?!? Among other blogs I browsed through during college….well there were not many. Texts From Last Night filled by main browser, a few visits to Damn You AutoCorrect!, and of course a little love from CollegeHumor. I loved being entertained by other people’s trashy bits of information that were slightly relevant to my current lifestyle. Aww, big nostalgic sigh for college, everyone.
A lot has changed since my campus days. I graduated, moved home and rediscovered my love for weekends and the simple pleasure that accompanies falling asleep with a good book in my hand. I have also taken a closer look the blogging world and have become addicted to some truly great sites. Fashion has been presented to me in new and exciting ways. Pinterest has turned me into a whore for DIY projects. And I always love reading the back story on a successful, power woman-blogger. Read More »

Here in NYC, we’ve had a strangely warm winter. For the most part, it’s been pretty great. Who could complain about sunshine and temperatures in the 50s and 60s during winter? But there is one sad part – no snow. And even worse, there’s rain. Few things are more depressing than cold winter rain. The best we get is “wintry mix,” which is basically slush that melts into giant puddles. But I hear that some of you lucky ducklings in other parts of the country are getting lots of snow, and maybe even have a snow day to look forward to. So here are 8 ways for you to celebrate your snow day like an 8 year old – and just know that everyone else is very, very jealous.

I used to be seriously worried about getting older. Not only because of the fear of my health failing or loved ones dying, but also…what would I wear? It seemed like once you got past 35, fashion decided to forsake women because, in general, society marginalizes women over 30. Luckily, after delving more into the world of fashion, I realized that there are tons of timeless pieces that are appropriate for women from 20 to 80. Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is approaching 40 (!!!) and she is definitely one of my fashionista role models. She has an amazing sense of style that is generally refined, chic and sexy.
